Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking a Program Director to oversee operations and programs for the assigned club, focusing on program development, staff supervision, and resource management including budgets and facilities. You will lead planning to offer age-appropriate programs for K through 8th grade, with teen programming possible, and ensure high quality youth development activities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of program management and youth development.
• Experience managing budgets and resources for child-care or youth programs.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and related tools.
• Experience recruiting, training, and evaluating staff and volunteers.
• Familiarity with public relations and community partnerships.
• Knowledge of state licensing and Delaware STAR standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day club operations and program delivery.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing for school-age child care centers.
• Manage budgets and support fundraising efforts.
• Lead long- and short-range program planning for age-appropriate activities (K–8th).
• Incorporate high-yield learning activities using BGCA resources.
• Coordinate before/after care and transportation schedules.

Associate degree in related field with 12 credits in child development/early childhood education and 18 months experience
