Job summary

AAPCI is seeking an experienced Program Director to provide leadership and oversight for Glenmore Manor, a Brooklyn-based supportive housing program. You will oversee service delivery, staff performance, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance while advancing tenant well-being and housing stability.

Reporting to the Program Coordinator, you will lead a multidisciplinary team, collaborate with funders and regulatory partners, and ensure high-quality, tenant-centered services.

Qualifications

• MA, MSW, MS in Human Services or other appropriate social science is required.
• Minimum of three to five years’ supervisory experience.
• At least five to seven years of progressive work experience in the field.
• Experience working with dully-diagnosed individuals and/or families.
• Experience with one or more populations including: mental health, substance use, inpatient/outpatient treatment, homelessness and supportive housing populations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of site service delivery and contract compliance.
• Provide leadership and supervision to staff to meet targets and benchmarks.
• Hire and train program personnel to reach goals and maintain quality.
• Conduct performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Plan policies and ensure staff training aligns with funder requirements.
• Organize program activities to achieve contract goals and performance targets.
• Facilitate interdepartmental communication and meetings.
• Ensure timely reporting to DOHMH, OTDA, OMH and regulators.
• Coordinate with property management on incidents and payment issues.
• Lead quality assurance and staff development opportunities.
• Support crisis prevention and intervention strategies with leadership.
