Job summary

St. John’s Community Services is seeking a Part Time Program Director – Scattered Site to oversee a 9-bed residential program for individuals in recovery.

This role ensures safe operation, compliance with NYS OASAS regulations, and high-quality service delivery for about 15 hours weekly. You will support admissions, supervise staff, and maintain licensure requirements while collaborating with leadership and coordinating program data to drive future decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years FT experience in the treatment of SUD.
• CASAC credential or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of NYS OASAS regulations and program standards helpful.
• Strong clinical documentation and charting skills.
• Willingness to work 15–20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit clinical reports to leadership.
• Develop and maintain service plans.
• Review records including progress notes and discharge plans.
• Assist Residential Counselor staff in treatment approaches.
• Ensure licensure and certification compliance (OASAS, CARF, DOH, DEA).
• Provide admissions support including referrals and assessments.
• Collaborate with State Director to analyze program data for decisions.
• Assist with proposals and internal/external reporting.
• Stay updated on new recovery concepts and methods.
• Attend agency events, trainings, and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
