Job summary

TAG MedStaffing is seeking an experienced Program Director to oversee an OASAS-certified Part 820 Residential Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program in New York. This senior leadership role drives clinical, administrative, regulatory, operational and fiscal performance.

Qualifications

• Current New York State LCSW license.
• Current CASAC credential.
• Minimum 5 years of Program Director experience in an OASAS Part 820 residential program.
• Minimum 10 years of staff and team management experience, including leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Extensive knowledge of OASAS regulations, Part 820 standards, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated experience managing program and grant-funded budgets.
• Experience with grant compliance, reporting, and deliverables.
• Strong clinical oversight and quality assurance experience.
• Experience managing regulatory audits and maintaining program readiness.
• Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with EHR, data tracking, and compliance reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations of an OASAS Part 820 residential treatment program.
• Maintain compliance with OASAS regulations, 14 NYCRR Part 820 requirements, grant requirements, and applicable audit standards.
• Maintain continuous readiness for OASAS reviews, fiscal audits, grant monitoring, and unannounced inspections.
• Develop and oversee corrective action plans related to audits, incidents, compliance concerns, and quality improvement.
• Oversee admission, continued stay, discharge planning, and continuity-of-care processes.
• Monitor census, capacity, utilization, program outcomes, and performance indicators.
• Provide clinical oversight and ensure delivery of evidence-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered services.
• Ensure assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other clinical documentation meet regulatory requirements.
• Supervise program leadership, clinical supervisors, and multidisciplinary staff.
• Ensure staff meet OASAS credentialing, training, licensure, and supervision requirements.
• Manage staff performance, development, accountability, and retention.
• Develop and oversee program and grant-funded budgets.
• Monitor expenditures, reimbursement, billing, and fiscal reporting.
• Oversee grant deliverables and required reporting to OASAS and other funding entities.
• Lead continuous quality improvement and monitor clinical quality, incidents, client outcomes, and compliance indicators.
• Serve as a primary liaison with OASAS, funders, oversight agencies, and community partners.
• Represent the program during audits, monitoring visits, and stakeholder meetings.
• Support strategic planning and long-term sustainability of residential services.

Required Qualifications
