Job summary

C5MI Insights LLC. is seeking a Program Director to lead a large-scale SAP S/4HANA financial management modernization program for a Department of War organization.

You will own the program budget and margins, direct an integrated team, and manage executive government relationships across nine process areas. Travel up to 50% to client sites, supervise subcontractors, and ensure audit readiness, compliance, and timely milestone delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree or exec leadership program a plus.
• 15–20 years of professional experience with 8–12 years of progressive people leadership.
• 10+ years directing federal or Department of War programs; P&L accountability.
• Experience as Program Manager/Director on a federal contract valued at ≥ $100M.
• Active or the ability to obtain Secret security clearance prior to assignment.

Responsibilities

• Owns overall program profit and loss, including revenue, margin, cost controls and variance management.
• Establishes operating model, governance cadence, and organizational design; approves headcount and major investments.
• Directs delivery of firm-fixed-price milestones across nine financial process areas with integrated milestones.
• Interfaces with government program office and senior leadership; manages executive relationships.
• Leads integrated program team across architecture, delivery, testing, data, change management, and training.
• Manages teaming partners and subcontractors to align with program baselines.
• Manages program risk and opportunity; escalates cost, schedule, and technical risks.
• Ensures compliance with DoD acquisition policy (DoDI 5000.x, DFARS) and related regulations.
• Prepares and delivers CDRLs, monthly status, master schedule updates, and EV/PM reporting.
• Delivers favorable CPARS ratings and maintains audit-readiness and internal controls.
• Plans workforce strategy, clearance processing, and surge capacity.
