Job Description

Job Summary

The Program Director is responsible for managing internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts. The role includes delivering products through the design process to completion, planning and directing schedules and budgets, and monitoring projects from inception to delivery. The role may involve overseeing external vendors and managing system analysis and program staff. This position focuses on project and program management, requiring strong leadership and governance skills, experience with portfolio and project management tools and methodologies, and the ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives. The Program Director will oversee strategic and operational portfolios, manage relationships with the Corporate EPMO and IT, and handle issue escalation and resolution.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Manage programs using staff and matrixed resources with oversight from AVP and VP.
• Serve as industry Subject Matter Expert and lead programs to meet critical needs.
• Identify and escalate gaps and barriers in implementation and compliance.
• Develop business case methodologies and coordinate business strategy implementation.
• Collaborate with other units at corporate and Molina Plans.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Required Experience

7-9 years.

Preferred Education

Graduate degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Experience

10+ years.

Preferred Licenses/Certifications

CPHQ.
