Job Description

Job Summary

The Program Director is responsible for managing internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts. They oversee the entire project lifecycle from design to completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and monitoring. The role may involve overseeing external vendors and directing system analysis and program staff. This position focuses on project and program management, requiring strong leadership, governance, and communication skills. The Program Director should be experienced in presenting to C-level executives, managing multiple priorities, and utilizing portfolio and project management methodologies and tools. The role also involves managing strategic relationships with Corporate EPMO and IT, and overseeing issue escalation and resolution processes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Manage programs using staff and matrixed resources under oversight from AVP and VP
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the functional area and lead programs to meet critical needs
• Identify and escalate gaps and barriers in implementation and compliance
• Develop business cases and strategies for program implementation
• Collaborate with other units at corporate and Molina Plans
