Job Description

Job Summary

The Program Director is responsible for managing internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts. This role oversees the delivery of products from design to completion, manages schedules and budgets, and monitors projects from inception through delivery. The Director may also oversee external vendors and assign tasks to system analysis and program staff. This position focuses on project and program management, requiring strong leadership and governance skills, and experience presenting to C-level executives. The role involves managing strategic relationships, overseeing portfolios, and handling issue escalation processes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Manage programs using staff and matrixed resources with oversight from senior leadership
• Serve as industry Subject Matter Expert and lead programs to meet critical needs
• Identify and escalate gaps and barriers in implementation and compliance
• Develop business case methodologies and implement business strategies
• Collaborate with other units at corporate levels
