Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for managing internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts. Delivers products through the design process to completion, plans and directs schedules, manages project budgets, and monitors projects from inception through delivery. May oversee external vendors and assign tasks to system analysis and program staff. The role focuses on project/program management, with a senior level of responsibility, including governance across operational and strategic portfolios, and requires strong leadership, presentation skills to C-level executives, and extensive knowledge of project management tools and methodologies. The candidate should be able to quickly assimilate information, make informed decisions, and handle multiple priorities amidst ambiguity. They will also manage strategic relationships with Corporate EPMO and IT, and oversee issue escalation and resolution.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Manage programs using staff and matrixed resources with oversight from AVP and VP
• Serve as industry Subject Matter Expert in the functional area and lead programs to meet critical needs
• Escalate gaps and barriers in implementation and compliance to senior management
• Develop business case methodologies and coordinate business strategy implementation
• Collaborate with other units at corporate and Molina Plans
