Job summary

Dungarvin in Evansville, IN is seeking a Program Director to oversee and coordinate programs for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses. This role blends direct care with supervisory duties and requires coordinating staff, training, and program operations.

The position offers full-time hours, a starting salary of $47,000–$52,000 with education-based adjustments, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, retirement, and paid

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field preferred.
• At least 1 year full-time direct experience with participants with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• At least 2 years of management experience with development or intellectual disabilities.
• Ability to lift/transfer and provide personal cares to persons served.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the overall assigned program(s) for individuals with IDD.
• Coordinate staffing, orientation and ongoing training.
• Monitor program operations, goals and plans and implement the program.
• Provide leadership and team building at programs.
• Ensure services align with person-centered practices and licensing expectations.
• Direct care as needed at programs.
