Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is seeking a Program Director to lead IDD services and oversee operations for one to four programs. The role emphasizes organizing direct supports, person-centered planning, regulatory compliance, and effective stakeholder engagement.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years in Human Services and a valid driver’s license, with a focus on compassionate, detail-oriented leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of related experience in Human Services preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• State requirements or regulations may add education, experience, licensure, or certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of one to four programs, including direct supports, planning, health care, advocacy, regulatory compliance, staffing, training, safety, and facilities.
• Manage program staff including performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make recommendations on hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, corrective action, and terminations.
• Oversee program planning, monitor service delivery, and ensure services are engaging and relevant to individuals served.
• Be on-call to support staff and cover shifts as needed.
