Job Description

Job Summary

The Program Director is responsible for managing internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts. They oversee the entire project lifecycle from design to completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and monitoring progress. The role may involve managing external vendors and leading system analysis and program staff. This position focuses on project and program management, requiring strong leadership, governance, and strategic oversight skills. The Program Director should be comfortable presenting to C-level executives and managing multiple priorities amidst ambiguity, utilizing portfolio and project management tools and methodologies.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Manage programs with staff and matrixed resources, with oversight from AVP and VP
• Serve as a subject matter expert and lead programs to meet critical needs
• Identify and escalate gaps and barriers in implementation and compliance
• Develop business case methodologies and coordinate business strategy implementation
• Collaborate with other units at corporate and Molina Plans
