Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for managing internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts, delivering products through the design process to completion. Plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors projects from inception through delivery. May oversee external vendors. Assigns, directs, and monitors system analysis and program staff. These positions primarily focus on project/program management rather than specialized functional expertise, though technical team members may be involved. The role requires senior program management skills, including governance, leadership, and experience presenting to C-level executives. Must be adept at driving structure, organization, and managing multiple priorities, with extensive knowledge of portfolio and project management tools and methodologies.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Manages programs using staff and matrixed resources with oversight from AVP and VP
• Serves as industry Subject Matter Expert and leads programs to meet critical needs
• Escalates gaps and barriers in implementation and compliance to senior management
• Develops business case methodologies and coordinates business strategy implementation
• Collaborates with other units at corporate and Molina Plans
