Sr. IT Service Management Analyst - Disaster Recovery Remote

Job Description

As a Sr. IT Service Management Analyst, you will support the enterprise IT Disaster Recovery process with the goal of ensuring that the Enterprise Critical IT services and work processes can be resumed within agreed upon service and resumption levels with limited to no disruption of key critical business processes. You will also be responsible for leading design and implementation activities related to Disaster Recovery, processes, and recovery solutions. You will assess and manage annual DR testing exercises (Annual and tabletop) to ensure efficient recovery of IT systems, meeting RPO and RTO timelines.

This position is responsible for process and technology improvements: gathering requirements, designing, building, and deploying processes and procedures within the enterprise environment. It also involves defining, developing, and implementing disaster recovery service metrics for internal and external customers.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the point of contact and Subject Matter Expert for IT Disaster Recovery, providing best practices, guidance, and recommendations for remediation of DR risks. Support development of DR capabilities for new products and services in data-center environments, as well as in public cloud and DRaaS solutions.
  • Ensure compliance by working with the IT team to respond to client RFPs, RFIs, and requests.
  • Perform day-to-day program administration and conduct annual testing of the DRaaS environment. Collaborate with stakeholders to create and maintain DRaaS runbooks and coordinate annual DR tests.
  • Analyze current processes to propose improvements, leading the execution of prioritized enhancements. Gather requirements for new and improved processes and services from stakeholders.
  • Establish, monitor, and report on adherence to process and procedures for IT services.
  • Conduct process training and provide guidance on service management initiatives and deliverables.
  • Participate in strategy development, service review meetings, and various projects with the business, clients, and IT.
  • Coordinate daily routines including data management, reporting, workflow processing, and communication across teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience; HS diploma or GED required.
  • At least 5 years of relevant IT experience.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Additional Qualifications
  • Ability to work with remote, virtual, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize complex tasks.
  • Availability to work outside regular hours for testing and activities.
  • Effective communication skills, creative thinking.
  • Experience with productivity tools like SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ITIL Practitioner Certification or higher, advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in PBM or healthcare industry.
  • Cloud/engineering infrastructure experience.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Extensive SharePoint administration skills.

All employees must comply with security responsibilities and policies. Salary range: $81,000 - $138,000 based on experience.
