Stephen F. Austin State University seeks a seasoned athletics compliance professional to direct a comprehensive program ensuring NCAA, conference, and university adherence across all varsity sports and related areas.
The role interprets NCAA rules, monitors activities, and provides guidance to student-athletes, coaches, and staff, reporting to the Director of Athletics. Strong collaboration and strategic policy development are essential.
This is a professional position responsible for directing a service-oriented and comprehensive compliance program to ensure that all athletics programs and institutional support areas and activities comply with NCAA, conference, and university regulations. Responsible for interpretation and implementation of NCAA rules and regulations, monitoring, reporting, and general support of the compliance efforts of all student-athletes, coaches, staff, and external constituents. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Reports to the Director of Athletics.
Bachelor’s degree in sports management, athletics administration, physical education, recreation, education, or a related field is required. Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
Two years of related experience is required. Experience with NCAA intercollegiate athletics is required. Experience with NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletics is preferred.
