Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role oversees designated programs, ensuring high-quality supports, health care coordination, and regulatory compliance.

You will lead staffing, training, budgeting, and stakeholder relations from a program location. As Program Director, you’ll manage Direct Support Professionals and Program Supervisors, conduct evaluations, and ensure safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; two to three years of related experience in Human Services preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
• State-specific licenses or training may be required by program type.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the services delivered to designated programs and the operation of programs.
• Lead direct supports, person-centered planning, health care, advocacy, regulatory compliance and staffing.
• Coordinate training, financial management, and maintenance of the physical environment.
• Manage program records audits and periodic reviews; ensure documentation accuracy.
• Oversee budgeting, census, and contractual compliance; ensure safety and regulatory adherence.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and Program Supervisors; participate in hiring and performance reviews.
