Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, seeks a Program Director for IDD Services to oversee multiple community programs and ensure high-quality supports for individuals with disabilities.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, staff leadership, and program planning, with on-call availability to support teams. A bachelor’s degree and relevant experience are preferred, along with a valid driver’s license and insurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of related experience in Human Services preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• State regulations or licensure requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of one to four programs in a community setting, including direct supports, person-centered planning, health care, advocacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise program staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make recommendations on hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, and terminations.
• Oversee program planning, monitor delivery of services to ensure engaging and relevant supports.
• Be available on-call to support staff and cover shifts as needed.
