Job summary

The Home for Little Wanderers, Inc. Southeast Campus in Plymouth, MA seeks a Director of Milieu Services to lead milieu-based programming and supervise staff to ensure therapeutic, developmentally appropriate care for youth.

You will partner with clinical leadership to meet youths’ clinical needs, supervise multiple coordinators, participate in evaluations, policy enforcement, and budgeting, and represent the program in internal and external settings.

Qualifications

• Five years+ of program experience, including supervision.
• Computer literate, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software applications.

Responsibilities

• Own all elements of milieu-based programming within the campus, including 24/7 functioning of all programs.
• Work with clinical leadership to ensure milieu programming is therapeutic and meets youths’ developmental and clinical needs.
• Supervise Milieu Directors and staff, provide guidance and feedback for employee development.
• Participate in performance evaluations, recognition and improvement plans, and staff selections.
• Review and enforce program policies and procedures and participate in QA/U utilization review.
• Spend significant time in milieu to coach, teach and train staff to high standards.
• Foster teamwork and continuous improvement for quality programs and outcomes.
• Coordinate with other departments to navigate issues for staff and youths.
• Oversee service, education and treatment plans and coordinate with agencies for quality youth services.
• Develop and implement annual operation budget and monitor variances.
• Represent the program in internal and external meetings in the absence of the Program Director.
