Job summary

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) in Western Massachusetts seeks a Program Director to lead the (A-CCS) team and advance mission of empowering people to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.

The role provides direct clinical and supervisory services, oversees treatment and aftercare planning, leads case rounds, ensures quality documentation, and participates in hiring, onboarding, and staff development to sustain census and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or equivalent required.
• Independent clinical licensure (LICSW or equivalent) required.
• Experience using a variety of treatment approaches with individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges.
• Crisis-services or inpatient behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical, supervisory, and consultative services to individuals served, families, staff, and community providers.
• Oversee treatment and aftercare planning, determine appropriate referrals, and implement the least restrictive clinical response.
• Lead daily and weekly case rounds focused on treatment planning and disposition with program staff and collateral providers.
• Ensure clear, timely clinical documentation and approve discharge plans and discharge summaries.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, supervision, performance management, and professional development for staff and interns.
