Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Dulles, VA is seeking a Program Cost Control Analyst (Level 2 or Level 3) to help prepare budgets and schedules for contracts and perform financial analyses. The role focuses on cost control, EVM, and reporting to ensure funds are available and contracts stay within negotiated parameters.

This 100% onsite position requires a TS clearance or the ability to obtain one, strong MS Office and Costpoint/Cobra/Primavera/SAP experience, and a track record in defense cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of professional experience OR Master's degree with 1+ years of professional experience
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of professional experience OR Master's degree with 3+ years of professional experience
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance
• Experience with financial analysis or reporting
• Experience with MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
• Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation support
• Perform analysis and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
• Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to complete
• Other duties as assigned
