Job summary

The University of Toledo is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Institute of Constitutional Thought & Leadership to manage logistics for K-12 initiatives and support public events.

You will collaborate with faculty, staff and administration to plan programming, coordinate budgets, venues, catering, travel, AV and access for participants, and engage with K-12 teachers and students for future initiatives, while ensuring a warm, welcoming experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 1 year related work experience in events is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication.
• Experience coordinating with K-12 educators and administrators is a plus.
• Proactive, cross-functional team player with independent problem-solving.
• Commitment to university policies and required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute logistics for K-12 educational initiatives.
• Support public-facing events and campus programming.
• Coordinate with faculty, staff and administration across the Institute.
• Manage event budgets, space allocations, catering, travel, AV.
• Prepare spaces and disseminate meeting materials to groups.
• Coordinate speaker and attendee access; day-of-event operations.
• Long-term planning for educational programming.
• Liaise between administrators and hospitality staff.
