Job summary

Abode Services in Alameda County seeks a Program Coordinator I to supervise housing programs, coach staff, and coordinate services for participants and landlords. You will ensure accurate inspections, subsidy payments, and HMIS updates while building strong relationships with property owners.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, and a willingness to work evenings/weekends as needed. A mission-driven team supports your growth.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal & written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, human services, social work, sociology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in housing or human services and ability to work within a housing first philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housing programs in Alameda County and staff directly.
• Coach and train staff to improve housing program skills and address performance issues.
• Coordinate with team to support clients/landlords and ensure subsidy payments.
• Maintain housing files, run rent reports, and manage unit contacts with property owners.
• Ensure HMIS updates, income assessments, and program compliance.
