Job summary

The Arc Southern Chesapeake in Calvert County, MD, is seeking a Program Coordinator to oversee day-to-day functions of assigned homes, ensure the wellbeing and safety of individuals with disabilities, and supervise Direct Support staff within the Tri-County area.

Travel is required; the role includes coordinating housing, staff scheduling, training, budgeting within home operations, and responding to emergencies after hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills, both orally and in writing.
• Willingness to work anywhere within the Tri-County area (Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s counties).
• Must have knowledge of community resources available.

Responsibilities

• supervise Direct Support Staff and ensure staffing ratios.
• Coordinate house/site operations and budgets within guidelines.
• Track medical appointments and documentation as needed.
• Respond to emergencies during after-hours, weekends, and holidays when applicable.
