The Arc Southern Chesapeake seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide hands-on community and residential support in Charles, Calvert, and St. Mary’s counties. This full-time role emphasizes assisting individuals to become more self-sufficient and connected in their communities.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle. Training and background checks are required.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
• Good driving record with minimal points.
• Ability to provide hands-on support in community and home settings.

Responsabilidades

• Assist individuals with personal care and daily living tasks.
• Support community access, social activities, and friendships.
• Assist with meals, laundry, and household tasks as needed.
• Provide transportation and help develop personal goals.
• Help individuals advocate for themselves and coordinate care.
