Job summary

The Arc Southern Chesapeake is seeking a Program Manager to oversee administrative operations for the Tri-County area in Maryland. You will manage staff, budgets, documentation, and program compliance while ensuring consumer-centered planning and effective service delivery. The role requires travel within Calvert, Charles, and St.

Mary’s counties, with after-hours emergencies and occasional shift coverage. A bachelor’s degree in a human services field and at least two years of relevant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services field or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with persons with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Personable, energetic, and good at collaborating with others.
• Knowledge of community resources available.

Responsibilities

• Approve staff schedules and time cards.
• Interview, hire, evaluate and terminate staff as needed.
• Provide orientation and feedback to new staff; mentor team.
• Oversee PCP documentation, financial records, and inspections.
• Coordinate and respond to emergencies, including after-hours duties.
• Assist with budget development and monitoring for homes.
• Cover shifts and act as Program Coordinator when needed.
