Job summary

The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan is seeking a Program Associate to support day-to-day operations of all children's programs. You will work closely with the Manager to ensure projects are completed accurately, on time, and in line with the organization's mission.

Responsibilities include data entry, coordinating program sites, collecting grant data, training new programs, monitoring sites, and producing monthly reports.

• Must be extremely organized and detail-orientated with strong project and time management skills.
• Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
• Solid judgment with high standards of accuracy, responsiveness, integrity and discretion.
• Must be a motivated self-starter with positive attitude.
• Ability to work well under deadlines and in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to define and manage several projects simultaneously and have great follow-up skills.
• Must be able to successfully pass a backgrounding screening.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a positive work environment in alignment with the Company core values.
• Complete data entry assignments in a timely and accurate manner
• Work with Coordinators and Manager to help identify potential program sites
• Assist in collecting data for applications / grants
• Assist in set up and training new programs
• Assist in monitoring program sites according to Food Bank requirements
• Track program reporting, including monthly reports
• Provide coverage at locations serving food to students
• Provide support for special initiatives as assigned
• Work effectively with stakeholders from diverse populations, revealing sensitivity, understanding and acceptance of others.
