Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Office of Unemployment Compensation Tax Services is seeking a Program Analyst 2 to strengthen the Unemployment Compensation Management System (UCMS). You will analyze, test, and document to ensure the system is accurate, reliable, and user-friendly for employers and residents.

Duties include system analysis, issue resolution, testing support, and updating task documents and process guides.

Qualifications

• One year as a Program Analyst 1 or equivalent experience.
• Two years of analytical experience and a bachelor’s degree.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• System Analysis: Review UCMS functions for accuracy and compliance.
• Issue Resolution: Investigate problems and document fixes.
• Testing Support: Evaluate changes to confirm new features work as intended.
• Document Updates: Create and revise task documents and process guides.
• User Collaboration: Shadow staff to identify training needs and improvements.
• Data Review: Assess business rules, reports, and account activities.
