Job summary

The Fortune Society, Inc. in Long Island City is seeking a Program Analyst to support evaluation of data across programs and strengthen reporting quality. You will work under the EQI Program Manager to analyze performance and develop system improvements for efficient operations.

Applicants should have strong data analysis skills, experience with Excel and databases, and the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights that advance Fortune's mission of successful reentry.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred with strong background in statistics and/or data management.
Minimum two years of relevant nonprofit data analysis experience.
Proficiency in MS Office including Excel; SQL knowledge; Power BI a plus.

Responsibilities

Work with program managers to promote understanding of using data to meet performance targets and document outcomes.
Develop and implement a system of CQI and QA for assigned programs.
Monitor program performance and propose corrective action plans; alert senior management as needed.
Support Development team in providing data to demonstrate Fortune's expertise.
Create logic models and evaluation tools as necessary.
Coordinate start-up of new programs and contract/grant renewals; define data/reporting tasks.
Act as liaison between program staff and IT; identify training needs.
Support audits and implement recommended improvements.
Evaluate client satisfaction through surveys/focus groups; report results and recommendations.
