Job Description

Position: Data Analyst/Finance Analyst

Location: 333 Earle Ovington Blvd, Uniondale, NY

Work Hours: 50 hours/week initially for 1-2 weeks

Responsibilities:

• Support governance and oversight of technology used in the balanced scorecard and benchmarking processes, including Access databases, Excel spreadsheets, Tableau, and backup systems.
• Assist in implementing new techniques, technologies, and process improvements to ensure quality and process excellence.
• Complete reporting requirements and support quality review processes on a regular basis.
• Gather and analyze data from diverse sources to identify metrics, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support benchmarking efforts, target setting, and goal development at various organizational levels.
• Collaborate with process owners and management to gather feedback and improve the balanced scorecard and benchmarking processes.
• Maintain knowledge of Standards for Business Controls and meet management's expectations for internal controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Strong organizational skills and high-level analytical and quantitative skills. Experience in database development or programming.
• Extensive proficiency in Excel and Access; skills will be tested during the interview.
• Ability to develop new measurement approaches and work independently across departments.

Preferred: Master's/MBA in progress; working knowledge of SAP, DWMS, CMMS, OMS.
