Job summary

Resources for Human Development seeks a proactive Program Assistant to provide essential administrative and clerical support for the ACT/ACT Plus program in a nonprofit behavioral health setting.

You will serve as a primary contact, manage records, assist with financial documentation, and help coordinate office activities for staff, participants, and external partners. Strong communication and organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

  • Education and experience as listed: High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or coursework preferred.
  • 2–3 years of administrative support or office coordination experience in healthcare, human services, or nonprofit settings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to program leadership and staff.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and accurate record retention.
  • Assist with data entry, financial record-keeping, and documentation.
  • Support scheduling, meetings, event planning, and office operations.
  • Deliver professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
