Job summary

The Mexican American Opportunity Foundation seeks a Program Accountant in Montebello, CA. This role will manage month-end closings and prepare required government cost reports on monthly or quarterly basis, among other responsibilities.

Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and have at least two years of experience. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting applications, especially MIP Fund Accounting, are required. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities are also essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of accounting experience in any organization.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journal entries for assigned programs.
• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Prepare government cost reports and audit schedules.
• Assist in annual budget preparation for assigned programs.
