Job summary

Werner Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Dedicated Logistics Manager to own the dedicated account’s profitability through day-to-day operations, including driver management, load planning, and all customer service functions needed to ensure satisfaction.

The role oversees personnel, revenue generation, invoicing, safety, equipment maintenance monitoring, and driver payroll, while coordinating standards and KPI achievement with Werner’s customer. Strong on-site interaction is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Marketing, Management, or Transportation/Logistics.
• 2–3 years customer service experience preferred.
• 2–3 years transportation experience preferred.
• AS400 and PC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overall account management of profitability and growth.
• Daily supervision of office personnel and drivers assigned to account.
• Drive driver training and retention strategies.
• Assign drivers to loads using optimization of origination, destination, and miles.
• Ensure safety compliance and incident prevention.
• Coordinate with billing, safety, payroll, and maintenance.
• Prepare required account reporting.
