Job summary

Werner Enterprises is seeking a Dedicated Logistics Manager in Texas to own profitability and day-to-day operations for a dedicated account. Manage drivers, load planning, and customer service to ensure satisfaction while coordinating with billing, risk, safety and maintenance teams.

The role emphasizes supervision of office personnel and drivers, driver training and retention, and continuous improvement of asset utilization and safety compliance throughout the account.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration with emphasis in Marketing, Management, or Transportation/Logistics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two to three years customer service experience preferred.
• Two to three years transportation experience preferred.
• One to two years AS400 and PC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overall account profitability and growth for the dedicated account.
• Daily supervision of office personnel and drivers assigned to the account.
• Load planning, driver assignment, and KPI attainment.
• Coordinate with billing, safety, payroll, and maintenance departments.
