Job summary

Werner Enterprises seeks a Dedicated Logistics Manager to own the account’s profitability through daily operations, including driver management, load planning, and customer service to ensure satisfaction.

You will supervise office personnel and drivers, focus on driver training, and drive safety compliance while coordinating with billing, risk, safety, and other departments. The role entails significant field interaction and account leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Marketing/Management/Transportation/Logistics) required.
• 2–3 years customer service experience preferred.
• 2–3 years transportation experience preferred.
• 1–2 years AS400 and PC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee account profitability, revenue generation, invoicing, and on-site customer interaction.
• Daily supervision of office personnel and drivers assigned to the account.
• Focus on driver training and retention.
• Ensure safety compliance and KPI attainment; coordinate maintenance.
• Coordinate HR functions including interviewing, hiring, and separations.
• Conduct weekly invoicing reviews for accuracy.
• Prepare account reporting for internal and external customers.
