Job summary

Scoular is seeking an on-site Operations Leader for the Jerome Feed Mill to own site execution, oversee production, maintenance, and logistics, and align operations with commercial strategy.

You will integrate commercial priorities with financial outcomes to maximize throughput, optimize product mix, and improve margin while developing internal capability and coordinating with traders, railroads, and carriers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience aligning operations with commercial strategy to drive revenue growth.
• Experience managing internal teams and external resources.
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams with accountability.
• Strong understanding of grain, feed logistics, asset utilization, and cost control.
• Knowledge of FDA/FSMA, HACCP, and quality programs for feed and grain manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for the Jerome Feed Mill, directly managing production, maintenance, and logistics resources.
• Build and lead a high-performing site organization with clear accountability for safety, quality, reliability, and cost.
• Oversee and manage execution of 3rd party operations and logistics partners.
• Drive continuous improvement focused on throughput, yield, uptime, labor efficiency, and cost per ton.
• Coordinate closely with railroads, truck carriers, and logistics providers to maintain efficient product movement and service levels.
• Lead site execution against company priorities including cost reduction, growth initiatives, and operational excellence.
