Job summary

The Equity is seeking a Feed Mill Assistant Manager to support daily operations at a Horace area facility. You will oversee production activities, maintain quality and safety standards, supervise staff, and help ensure efficient manufacturing, inventory, maintenance and delivery processes.

The role reports to the Mill Manager, requires strong communication and leadership, and offers a competitive salary with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Background in mill production and agriculture preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Interacts effectively with management and customers
• Self-motivated with team-building skills
• MS Excel/Word and other MS Office tools

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures
• Supervise direct reports and train staff
• Plan, assign, and direct work; address issues
• Follow GMP and quality standards
• Oversee scheduling, inventory, maintenance, and delivery
• Review performance reports to control costs
