Job summary

Ag Plus is seeking an Operations Manager – Feed at Synergy Feeds in South Whitley, IN. You will supervise mill staff, manage production and quality, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting company values and customer service excellence.

You will lead maintenance, inventory, cost controls, and staff development in a fast-paced agricultural processing facility, reporting to the Division Manager and CEO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Agribusiness, Operations Management or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of manufacturing/operations experience; or 5+ years in feedmill/production management.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mill staff, feed manufacturing, production, inventory and maintenance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and cost control while delivering quality feed.
• Maintain safety standards and implement feed safety plans.
• Supervise scheduling of production and delivery to meet customer demand.
• Lead training and development of plant staff; promote teamwork.
