Job summary

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is looking for a Trailer Mechanic in the San Bernardino, CA area to perform repairs and maintenance on semi-trailers. This full-time, outdoor position provides hands-on learning and a service truck and tools supplied by RSS.

Responsibilities include inspecting and diagnosing trailer system malfunctions, troubleshooting and replacing defective components, and conducting regular preventive maintenance on ABS, air brakes, frames, suspensions, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to pass a Drug Screen.
• Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular and frequent basis.

• Inspect and diagnose malfunctions on all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair and replace defective components.
• Perform regular check-ups and preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including: ABS, air brakes, frame, body, suspension and electrical systems.
• Coordinate with other staff, receive & execute work instruction in a timely & proper manner.
• Help maintain positive working relationships with current customers.

RSS has been in business for over 32 years, and has nearly 400 team members located in 17 states! We are currently looking to expand our team in the San Bernardino, CA area. We are seeking a Trailer Mechanic to perform repairs and maintenance on semi-trailers. What we offer:

• Pay: $26-$30/hr (depending on experience)
