Job summary

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair in San Bernardino, CA is seeking a Trailer Mechanic to diagnose and repair semi-trailers, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety of trailer systems.

We offer pay of $26-$30 per hour depending on experience, hands-on learning, service truck and tools supplied, paid holidays, 401K after 1 year, and opportunities for internal promotion.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to pass a Drug Screen.
• Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular and frequent basis.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose malfunctions on all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair and replace defective components.
• Perform regular check-ups and preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including: ABS, air brakes, frame, body, suspension and electrical systems.
• Coordinate with other staff, receive & execute work instruction in a timely & proper manner.
• Help maintain positive working relationships with current customers.

We are currently looking to expand our team in the San Bernardino, CA area. We are seeking a Trailer Mechanicto perform repairs and maintenance on semi-trailers.
