Department: Civil/Municipal

Location: North Carolina - Remote

We are seeking a Professional Surveyor and Mapper to join our team. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, but candidates must be licensed in Florida.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and monitoring project scope, budget, schedule, and quality control for survey projects from proposal to final delivery.
• Overseeing survey activities to ensure performance goals are met.
• Coordinating with project team members and providing instructions to survey support staff.
• Staying current with technological advances and software updates.
• Performing calculations and mapping as required.
• Researching project materials and analyzing deeds for survey production.
• Ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget, addressing issues with supervisors as needed.
• Managing office personnel and coordinating with field staff to meet project goals.
• Prioritizing projects and schedules for yourself and your team.
• Monitoring quality assurance and quality control processes.
• Ensuring client satisfaction and full scope execution.
• Reviewing timesheets and assisting with project estimates.

Minimum Requirements:

• Licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) or (PLS) in Florida; additional licenses in Georgia are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven project management experience in site development and surveys.
• Experience with Civil 3D for various surveys and the ability to review title commitments and conduct records research.
• Subsurface Utility Engineering experience is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
