Summary - Flexible Contractor/Freelance Opportunity 1099

IMMEDIATE NEED

This is a flexible, freelance contractor opportunity, not a full-time, part-time, or hourly position. It does not follow a set schedule.

The Medical Site Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for conducting onsite surveys and audits at local medical clinics to ensure compliance with ULG client expectations.

ULG will provide each credentialing specialist with a checklist to complete.

• Must have access to a tablet or laptop
• Must have access to Acrobat Reader and MS Excel/spreadsheets

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Visit local clinics to review and verify compliance checklist for licensed practitioners
• Assess building accessibility, facility appearance, and setup
• Complete survey checklists
• Report concerns or issues to the manager
• Handle confidential information professionally, adhering to HIPAA laws
• Review medical record-keeping, patient scheduling, and related policies
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Education, Experience & Skills

• Associates Degree preferred or relevant professional experience
• At least 1 year of credentialing or auditing experience in a regulated environment
• Ability to interact effectively with community, operational, and clinical staff
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
• Detail-oriented with strong research skills
• Organized, independent worker with team collaboration skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, databases)
