RECRUITMENT RANGE: $59,732.00 - $85,846
The Nursing Home Surveyor (Nurse Consultant I) position involves regulatory activities to determine compliance of nursing homes with federal and state requirements through inspections.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Must pass the Federal Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT) within 2 years of hire.
This is a home-based position servicing the Alexander, Allegheny, Ashe, Caldwell, Catawba, Davie, Iredell, Mecklenburg, Surry, Watauga, Wilkes counties region. The Surveyor spends an average of three days per week in nursing homes conducting inspections. Inspections may occasionally be required on weekends and during night shifts. While scheduling attempts are made within regions, overnight stays are expected when nursing homes are more than 60 miles from the home base.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina with at least one year of relevant experience.
Note: Temporary or contract roles do not include benefits.
For permanent roles, benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, paid leave, and parental leave, among others. Some benefits require working over 30 hours/week.
