Professional Services Technical Installer

Position Details

  • Location: Virtual
  • Travel: 75%+ travel may be required

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily reporting (project number, site, hours on-site, hours travel, etc.)
  • Weekly and timely expense submissions
  • Project-specific reporting in customer databases or Excel (self-audits, weekly updates, milestone reporting, etc.)
  • Escalate project issues and risks by interfacing with project personnel, customers, and suppliers
  • Monitor implementation in accordance with time, cost, and quality standards
  • Assist with engineering dispatch and customer engineer duties beyond their knowledge when requested
  • Maintain access status, training records, deployment tools, and software (including certifications and calibrations)
  • Lead, supervise, and direct assignments
  • Understand and implement safety and quality practices based on OEM and customer standards
  • Perform power verification, hardware testing, and equipment installation and troubleshooting
  • Manage logistics and execute hardware installation across multiple sites
  • Perform hardware testing in out-of-service environments and lead site teams
  • Verify service delivery completion, including redlines, job cost overages, and quality

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent training, proficiency in the system, and Telcordia Skill levels 1, 2, and 3
  • Ability to work independently and adhere to company policies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Physical ability to lift at least 25 pounds and work in confined spaces and tight environments
  • Proficiency with PC and software applications (Outlook, Microsoft Office)
  • Willingness to travel and work night shifts as needed
  • Ability to evaluate and train lower skill technicians

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with TELCORDIA GR-1275
