Position Details

Location: Virtual

Travel: 75% plus travel may be required

Key Responsibilities

• Report daily on project metrics including site, hours on-site, and travel.
• Submit weekly and on-time expenses.
• Maintain project reports in customer databases or Excel, including self-audits, updates, and milestone reporting.
• Escalate project issues and risks by coordinating with project personnel, customers, and suppliers.
• Monitor implementation to meet time, cost, and quality standards.
• Assist with engineering dispatch and customer engineer duties beyond current knowledge as needed.
• Maintain access status, training records, deployment tools, and software, including certifications and calibrations.
• Lead, supervise, and direct installation assignments.
• Follow established safety practices and quality requirements, implementing OEM technical and customer best practices.
• Perform power verification, hardware testing, and system additions/removals.
• Commission OEM equipment and interpret installation documentation.
• Manage inventory from Bill of Material (BOM) and interpret engineering specs, prints, and drawings.
• Understand and execute the scope of work, including physical and mechanical installation, power and grounding, and troubleshooting with test sets.
• Lead site teams, verify service completion, and ensure quality and job cost adherence.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with proficiency in the system, including Telcordia Skill levels 1-3.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, lift at least 25 pounds, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to travel and work night shifts as required.
• Ability to train and evaluate lower skill levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with TELCORDIA GR-1275 standard.
