Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Richmond Heights, Missouri is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling multiple sites. You will enforce regulations and provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors.

The position requires vigilance, strong communication, and the ability to work in a team while handling emergencies with calm judgment. A reliable, professional demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Camera monitoring.
• Access control duties.

Full-Time Security Officer

Primary Location: Richmond Heights, MO

Wage: $19.00/HR

Schedule: Fri - Tues: 2300 - 0700

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Driving record must meet company and / or insurance standards.
• Must be alert and observant.
• Must be responsible and dependable.
