Securitas US Business Unit in Fulton, MO is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer. Immediate openings across 1st (7AM-3PM), 2nd (3PM-11PM), and 3rd (11PM-7AM) shifts with a $20.00/hr wage. This on-site role supports campus safety with patrols, door unlocking, and incident reporting.

Officers provide nighttime surveillance, promptly respond to calls, and coordinate with the Director of Security. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid training, uniforms, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Security experienced preferred
• Valid Drivers License required.
• No security license needed.
• Must be alert and observant.
• Must be responsible and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols and unlock doors on 1st shift, and maintain campus presence.
• Respond to calls and secure doors during 2nd shift.
• Lock and secure buildings and complete incident reports.
• Maintain activity logs and communicate with Director of Security.
• Report maintenance requests and manage lost and found.
• Overnight surveillance and reporting to Director of Security when needed.

Full-Time Security Officer

Immediate Openings!!

Primary Location: Fulton, MO

Wage: $20.00/HR

Available Schedules & Responsibilities:

1 Shift | 7AM - 3PM:

Security Officers are to conduct patrols and unlock certain doors at a certain time. During 1st shift it is important to be flexible and fast. Our client needs us to be able to give the appearance we are everywhere at one time:

• Conduct patrols in one area and go to the next area to show we are flexible in our time and positioning.
• Conduct parking violations within the campus grounds.
• Write incident reports as they are in action.
• Conduct activity logs while; unlocking doors for students, receiving request calls from staff and alumni, reporting to and receiving request from the Director of Security, remain professional & helpful towards campus faculty and students.
• Reporting maintenance request and managing the lost and found.

2ndShift | 3PM - 11PM:

Evening shift Security Officers work the rush hours of the campus. They may be prone to more incidents and more calls based on the lack of staff and knowledge within the campus grounds:

• Respond to campus calls from students and staff, usually about unlocking or securing a door.
• Site hours end at 5PM, from 5PM - 11PM Security locks & secures about 9 buildings during this time, while Security are locking these doors site Security is expected to answer calls in between these hours to ensure we remain functional and helpful.
• Write incident reports as they are in action.
• Report and notify the Director of Security as incidents or anything outside of the day-to-day happens. Example: (maintenance request, incidents, unauthorized personnel ask for doors to be unlocked).

3rdShift | 11PM - 7AM:

Overnight Security Officers are expected to scan almost every outside scan point around the site and ensure every campus door is secured:

• Provide overnight surveillance; most students go to the bar and more so on the weekends, so we are heavily stationed on their "fraternity row" at night.
• Overnight officers are to report to the Director of Security if anything happens outside of their normal day-to-day.
