The ideal candidate will navigate Ariba confidently, support system configuration, and drive sourcing strategies across divisions while coordinating with Accounts Payable and Finance teams.

Procurement/Sourcing Manager (Ariba)

5+ month contract

Fort Mill, SC (Hybrid)

Our client is looking for an experienced procurement professional who can step in with minimal ramp‑up time and immediately support sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations. Strong hands‑on experience with Ariba is essential, as this individual will be expected to navigate the platform confidently, support system‑related activities, and partner with stakeholders on procurement initiatives without requiring significant training.

• Support and coordination of supplier enablement activities
• Develop vendor payment discount strategy and coordinate implementation
• Development of sourcing strategy and provide sourcing support for divisions to run and manage a limited number of events.
• Develop negotiation strategies across multiple business units with varying service level requirements; build decision-making tools and process for review. Identify team members to participate on high performing, motivated, cross-functional teams to interface with business to deliver superior business results.
• Procurement system contracts module support for divisions and assist with system configuration
• Procure to pay support and continued training/coordination with Divisions on policies and processes
• Procurement system tool (Ariba) administration support in coordination with Accounts Payable team
• Develop spend visibility analysis plan
• Training support and coordination with divisions and internal Finance team
• Support and coordinate change management plans to ensure organizational acceptance of improved sourcing and procurement processes and strategies.
• Demonstrate comprehensive industry knowledge of best practices, processes, and technology trends to proactively adjust strategy by working closely with functional and business partners.
• Identify, develop, and manage business relationships, internally and externally, to ensure the sourcing and procurement strategies align to meet business requirements.
• Provide project management discipline to ensure key procurement strategy milestones are achieved.

Requirements:

• SAP Ariba
• Proven negotiation and facilitation skills;
• Analytical, data driven approach with an attention to detail;
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
• Understanding of procurement systems and processes;
• Project Management Skills
• Good teamwork skills to work with other company departments to plan and execute on sourcing strategies
• Strong facilitation skills to collaborate with stakeholders across company to implement sourcing strategies
• Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and deadlines with different customers
• Ability to demonstrate strong business analysis and communication skills
• Working knowledge of Strategic Sourcing methodology, procurement knowledge, strategic thinking, and supplier management acumen
• Experience with implementation and support for procurement system
• Knowledge and use of eSourcing software applications highly desirable

Estimated Min Rate: $38.50

Estimated Max Rate: $55.00
