Job summary

Yoh is seeking a Business Systems Analyst/Product Owner for a 6-month contract in Plano, TX. Hybrid model: onsite 3 days a week.

You will define, document, and prioritize requirements; lead backlog with user stories; own product vision and roadmap; collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and developers; participate in Agile ceremonies and UAT.

Strong experience in Agile environments with excellent communication is required. W2 only and relocation not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is required.
• 5+ years in business systems analysis, with 3+ years in Agile environments.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process documentation, and gap analysis.
• Proficient in writing clear user stories, requirements, and managing backlogs.
• Able to translate business needs into technical specs and product features.

• Stay informed on industry trends to guide improvements.

Job Title: Business Systems Analyst/Product Owner

Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid – Onsite 3 Days/Week)

Responsibilities

• Define, document, and prioritize business, system, and product requirements aligned with organizational goals and customer needs.
• Lead requirement-gathering efforts, including JAD sessions, with stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and alignment across business and technology teams.
• Gain and maintain deep knowledge of business processes and system capabilities to ensure requests align with operational constraints and best practices.
• Serve as the liaison between internal/external stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring clear, timely, and positive communication.
• Create and manage a structured product backlog with well-crafted user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature prioritization.
• Own and refine the product vision and roadmap, adjusting strategy based on market trends, stakeholder feedback, and evolving business needs.
• Conduct gap analyses between current system functionality and new business requirements, collaborating closely with architects and developers.
• Partner with Project Managers to support end-to-end project delivery, from planning through release.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.
• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that deliverables meet business and functional expectations.
• Effectively manage competing priorities using strong organizational and communication skills.
• Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to help guide product and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis or related roles, including 3+ years in Agile environments.
• Proven experience in business requirements gathering, process documentation, and gap analysis.
• Skilled in writing clear and actionable user stories, business requirements, and managing product backlogs.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into technical specifications and product features.
• Proficient in tools such as Azure DevOps, SharePoint, and Confluence.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across levels.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking in fast-paced settings.
• Capable of thriving in both team-driven and independent work environments.

Estimated Min Rate: $42.00
