Job summary

Hershey Lodge is seeking a pool lifeguard to ensure guest safety while delivering friendly, professional service. Responsibilities include enforcing pool rules, responding to emergencies, and monitoring equipment. Candidates must be 18+, complete the Ellis & Assoc.

Lifeguard Training provided by Hershey properties, and commit to weekend/evening shifts. Prior lifeguard experience is a plus; strong athleticism and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Attend and complete the Ellis & Assoc. International Pool and Lifeguard Training Program provided and paid for by Hershey Entertainment and Resorts properties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and enforce swimming pool and attraction rules and safety regulations.
• Anticipate, recognizing, and respond to aquatic emergencies.
• Monitor equipment and supplies.
• Maintain work area and surrounding environment.
• Maintain lifeguard and first aid skills at "test ready" level at all times.
• Participate in weekly lifeguard in-service training.
• Performing other duties as assigned
