Job summary

Hershey Lodge is seeking pool lifeguards to ensure the safety of guests and provide courteous, professional service at the resort in Hershey, PA. Lifeguards enforce pool rules, respond to emergencies, and maintain equipment.

Applicants must be 18+, complete the Ellis & Assoc. Lifeguard Training, and demonstrate ability to swim 100 yards, tread water for a minute, and lift up to 75 lbs. This role requires strong communication and a positive guest-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Attend and complete the Ellis & Assoc. International Pool and Lifeguard Training Program provided and paid for by Hershey Entertainment and Resorts properties.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and enforcing pool and attraction rules and safety regulations.
• Anticipating, recognizing, and responding to aquatic emergencies.
• Monitoring equipment and supplies.
• Maintaining work area and surrounding environment.
• Keep lifeguard and first aid skills at test-ready level at all times.
• Participate in weekly lifeguard in-service training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
